In a new podcast, Meghan Markle shared how she tried to pass the test for knowledge of Britain’s history. This frankness immediately put her in an unsightly light to the British, who immediately ridiculed the Duchess.
Markle shared with listeners: She wanted to get British citizenship. But before that, she had to pass an exam on knowledge of the country’s history and culture. In preparation, Markle encountered difficulties and even asked Harry to help her.
According to Express.co.uk, the Duchess was unable to pass the test despite the lessons. The British joked about Markle’s behaviour. In the comments, users stated that this exam requires the most basic knowledge and with proper preparation it will not be difficult to deal with.
“Didn’t Megan say she was very smart?”, “A few weeks ago she complained that people think more about her looks than her brain. What kind of brain?”, “She couldn’t even learn the national anthem!”, “I guess she’s not as smart as she wants us to think,” users write.
