Samantha Grant has filed a lawsuit to hold her half sister to account. Grant accuses Markle of libel in an interview with Oprah Winfrey and in a book by Omid Scobie and Caroline Duran, the authors wrote on the dictation of a former actress.
The Duchess’s sister wants to prove that the words about a difficult childhood and lack of support from relatives are a lie. Grant has already gathered 19 witnesses, including the common father of the sisters, the mother of the Duchess, journalists and authors of the scandalous book. The plaintiff plans to sue Oprah Winfrey as well.
The Duchess of Sussex, who previously did not take her sister’s displeasure seriously, now realized the process was inevitable. Prince Harry’s wife is terrified of this prospect because the world can learn all its secrets, according to the Daily Express.
