But fans also noted the cinematic quality, which seemed a step up from KUWTK’s more traditionally realistic images.
There were also some dramatic scenes in the first where Kim finds out that her son Saint has seen online advertisements for the now infamous sex tape.
The image that Saint saw included a photo of Kim’s infamous “weeping face”, which she showed again in an emotional outburst.
One user tweeted: “Kim’s crying face didn’t lie to me.”
Another thought was that it was funny that the new drama started talking about Kim’s sex tape again.
“Khloe says it’s a good sign that they talked about the sex tape in episode 1 and said it killed me again,” they joked.
