Exclusive: Dick Clark Productions and Tubefilter announced their return today YouTube Streamy Awards December 4th
This will be the first time the event has been held in person since 2019. And after two years of remote entertainment, the creator community’s biggest night returns to the Beverly Hilton Hotel for a night of celebration, collaboration and unexpected moments. . For the fifth consecutive year, Streamys will be streamed exclusively on YouTube at YouTube.com/Streamys.

We are thrilled to continue this partnership with this year’s show and create memorable personal experiences for the maker community, ”said Drew Baldwin, co-founder of Streamys and CEO of Tubefilter.
The new categories for 2022 include a number of new game-focused awards such as Streamer of the Year, Breakout Streamer, and Competitive Gamer, as well as categories for VTubers who primarily use virtual avatars and the popular Just Chatting streaming genre. Nominations for all prize categories will be announced in October.
Streamys highlights include:
● The show has experienced steady growth year over year, with a notable 43% increase in YouTube views from 2020 to 2021, with the 2021 show garnering over 9.6 million views to date.
● Since its inception, creators’ participation in Streamys has continued to grow, as evidenced by the debut of Creator Honors, which allows past winners to directly recognize creators whose work has personally resonated with them.
● Streamys Academy recognition has helped push new online creators into the entertainment industry, as the Breakout Creator category is a strong indicator of success in the online world and in general. Previous Breakout Creator winners include Emma Chamberlain, Charlie D’Amelio, Lisa Koshy, Bella Poarch, and MrBeast.
● Top creators who attended the 2021 show included: Addison Ray, Bailey Sarian, Bella Poarch, Brent Rivera, Brettman Rock, Charlie and Dixie D’Amelio, Dream, Jay Shetty, Larrey, LaurDIY, MrBeast, Markiplier, Mark Rober , Quenlin Blackwell, Tai Verdes and ZHC.
● Some of the most prominent figures in pop culture and rising stars of the entertainment industry have joined Streamy’s enthusiasm. Norman, Kim Petras, Hailee Steinfeld, Alessia Cara, Future, Doja Cat and Meneskin are just a few of the names that have appeared on the show, while celebrities such as Paris Hilton and Derek Hough have also appeared.
