The royal person is not distinguished by modesty.
The Duchess of Sussex can safely be considered the most arrogant member of the royal family. So Meghan Markle sincerely believes that she has become a true freedom fighter for her friends.
In a recent interview, Markle spoke about the incident at the 2019 premiere of The Lion King in London’s West End. According to The Sun, members of the South African cast have confessed to the Duchess that they were celebrating when she tied the knot with a member of the royal family.
“They said to me, ‘We just need to let you know that when you got married and came into this family, we were just as happy on the street as when Mandela was released from prison,'” Markle said.
It’s hard to imagine what connects the Duchess and South Africa’s first democratically elected president. For example, Nelson Mandela spent 27 years in prison for speaking out against the apartheid system in his country. What kind of apartheid Markle fought, marrying Prince Harry, is unknown.
