Royal wedding in sight: Prince Ludwig of Bavaria and Sophie-Alexandra Evekink seal their love

Prince Louis of Bavaria has proposed to his girlfriend Sophie-Alexandra Evekink, with whom he is 8 years old. The 32-year-old is studying for a doctorate at the well-known University of Oxford and has become the favorite daughter-in-law of Prince Luitpold, who referred to Sophie for the media in his country with these words: “Luis has made a good choice. My future daughter-in-law is a very intelligent and educated woman.”. The 40-year-old royal will soon pass through the altar, although the date of the royal link is still unknown. Prince Luis is the great-great-grandson of the last King of Bavaria, and the third of the five children his parents had, but the eldest of the boys and therefore future heir to the House of Bavaria. His father’s cousin, Franz, is the Duke of Bavaria and has no descendants. Once he dies, the title will belong to Luis’ father.

Louis of Bavaria’s childhood developed in Schloss Kaltenberg, where he attended the Rhabanus-Maurus-Gymnasium St. Ottilien Eresing School and spent his early years. the young man eventually studied law and to this day he is dedicated to estate management. The future heritage of the royal family knows no bounds, among its possessions will be the Nymphenburg Palace, an impressive Baroque-style site in the city of Munich. Built in 1664 as the summer home of the Wittelsbach family, it still retains its period furnishings and features several frescoes, portraits, and a fascinating Rococo-style ballroom. The garden extends over more than 800,000 m2 of landand has been remodeled in different styles over the course of history.

In 2015 he founded Learn Lions, a non-profit organization that, according to its website, “enables young adults in marginalized rural communities in East Africa to become digital creatives and live a life of (digital) opportunity, right from their home region”. For his part, his future wife is studying for a PhD on justice for victims of conflict-related sexual violence, at the prestigious University of Oxford.

The young woman is very active on social networks and is in regular contact with her more than 2,000 Twitter followers. Most of his positions are related to his professional life as he worked for the United Nations before starting his PhD. Sophie turns out to be a very hardworking woman, enthusiastic and involved in various social causes.

Although the date of the link is unknown, the couple is on the long list of wedding from celebrities we’ve had over the past few months. Among them are also some royals such as Mafalda from Bulgaria, who went through the altar with her husband Marc Abousleiman in June of this year. Among those invited to the ceremony were the Infanta Elena and her sister, the Infanta Cristina, but the secrecy surrounding the celebration made it very difficult to capture photos of the big day. Another royal who has been encouraged to celebrate a wedding is Marta Luisa from Norway, who has become engaged to the shaman Durek Vurret, and they are already preparing. “She said yes! There is nothing better than being clear as a man that the woman for you is the one. I am full of tears of joy to be able to spend the rest of my life with the most powerful, angelic, wise and with the purest heart that in my eyes represents all levels of a god,” her future husband wrote on social networks. Josef-Emanuel from Liechtenstein is also participating and last March said ‘yes, I do’ with his now wife, Claudia Echevarría. It is the third son of Margarita and Nicolás de Luxemburg, who decided to marry six months after his two sisters, the princesses María Astrid and María Anunciata. It seems that weddings create a domino effect and in addition to the royals, many influencers have walked down the aisle in the past year.
