Dust-loving rapper Snoop Dogg is about to take on a new role. To do this, the artist must memorize his skills.
Soon the musician will star in a comedy called The Underdoggs (“Loser”), directed by Charles Stone, known for the film Drumline (“Drum Line”). In the story, the character Snoop Dogg is a former NFL superstar player who agrees to coach a youth soccer team instead of going to jail.
“This is a personal project of mine as I have coached the Snoop Youth Football League for 15 years. I hope this film sheds some light on the reality that children and adults face on the streets and in the complex world of football,” the rapper told NME.
The film will premiere in 2023.
