“No Messages”: Irina Shayk apologized for the provocative salad caption

It remains to be hoped that the brands that work with her have not seen anything.

Russian supermodel Irina Shayk almost fell victim to the “cancellation culture” because of a few misplaced letters. Now she tries in every possible way to cover her tracks.

Netizens perceived Shake’s caption for the photo with Olivier salad ambiguously. Subscribers saw in the phrase “Russianzz on Wednaday”, which means “Wednesday in Russian”, political overtones and called on brands collaborating with the Russian model to break all contracts with her. Shake, who used the letter “z” in the lingo, just wanted to emphasize how much she loves this dish.

The model, not expecting such a violent reaction, quickly deleted the post from Olivier. But the pressure from the haters in the comments to other photos forced her to apologize. True, now this message was not found.

“Sometimes a salad is just a salad. It contained no coded messages or political comments. Love to all,” Shayk wrote on her personal page on the social network.
