The new CEO of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, Bill Kramer, continues a major reorganization of AMPAS with another position and newly created appointment.
Jenny Galante has been promoted to executive vice president of revenue and business development, Kramer announced today, and will report directly to him.
Staff member of the Academy since 2013, Galante now leads the growth of the Academy’s global revenues through platforms that include special events, Academy member initiatives, international programs, digital platforms, Academy Screening Room, inclusion programs and development of talents and the Academy. Museum, Margaret Herrick Library, Science and Technology Council and Academy Film Archive. Additionally, Galante, whose previous title was Senior Vice President of Business Development, will continue to oversee the Academy’s strategic brand partnerships and lead the development of integrated marketing opportunities for Oscar® sponsors and advertisers.

Prior to joining the Academy, Galante handled corporate sponsorships for the Sundance Film Festival and the Sundance Institute’s year-round special events and artist programs.
