A year after a daring photo shoot for Vogue, Billie Eilish shared what inspired her to radically change her image. The singer had her own reasons for surprising fans with images in beige and pink tones and dyeing her hair blond.
“Before that I was a kind of person, I wore certain clothes and made certain music… and it haunted me because people only saw me that way, and I didn’t like it. I felt trapped by the image,” Eilish admitted in an interview with NME.

She clarified that now that she’s happy to be back in her usual style, she just wanted to show a more feminine version of herself. Such an unexpected transformation was commented by the image stylist Yulia Makovetskaya.
“Here the star looks as organic as possible for her appearance. She emphasized the soft lines in the face, in the figure. A very beautiful delicate color underwear and a corset were chosen. She resembles Monroe or Johansson in type,” she said in an interview with PopCornNews.
Despite the harmony of the image, the expert finds Eilish’s house style a better option:
“I really liked this reincarnation, but here she came out as just another Hollywood diva who isn’t very different from the rest. Still, the image of Billie Eilish with bright light green hair or baggy Gucci clothes is more unusual and memorable. Here I would mistake her for an ordinary star.
