“Yura did not want such a fate”: why Shatunov’s fate was a foregone conclusion

There was no hope of saving the star.

If Yuri Shatunov survived, he would not be able to go on stage.

The life of the late singer Yuri Shatunov in a miraculous rescue after a heart attack would have been unbearable. This was told by the director of the soloist of “Tender May” Arkady Kudryashov.

The producer noted that the heart of the 90s legend broke in three places. Shortly before departure, Shatunov was examined. Doctors had time to check the vessels – they were fine. But the case never reached the main force. Unfortunately, no one knew that the heart would turn out to be the musician’s Achilles heel.

“The doctors did everything possible, but Yura had no chance of survival. The doctors told me that even if a miracle happened and they managed to resuscitate him, Yura would remain an invalid, bedridden. I wouldn’t recognize anyone and I wouldn’t remember myself. Of course, Yura would not want such a fate … “- quotes the director of KP.RU.

The artist of the hit “Gray Night” passed away on June 23. Together with friends, he rested in the countryside, after which he felt sick. The efforts of the doctors were in vain. He was buried on June 28 at the Troekurovsky cemetery. His wife and children flew to Moscow from Germany to say goodbye to the star.
