Former Love Island contestant Amber Beckford called Luca Bish a “kid” after Monday night’s stormy episode.

The 24-year-old talked about Luca’s relationship with Gemma Owen at the Love Island: The Morning After podcast villa with fellow islander Ikenna.

They reflected on the behavior viewers had seen so far from the Brighton fishmonger with podcast host Arielle Free that she claimed she lost her mind quite easily.

During Monday’s episode, viewers saw tensions rise in the mansion after Luca learned that Gemma had accepted Dami’s prediction that her head might change if someone more suitable for her walked in.

Luca was not impressed that Gemma hadn’t first pulled him aside to tell him what had been discussed, since it was her ex-boyfriend Jacques who had revealed what had been said.

It was clear that the 23-year-old was upset about the situation when he sat down to discuss it with Gemma, even though it wasn’t the first time viewers had seen the couple sharing a heated exchange.

Noting this, Arielle Free said that Luca had the “ability” to lose his mind quite easily, which we saw in his conversations with Gemma.



Laughing awkwardly at her statement, former Love Islander Ikenna called her “brutal”.

Ari continued: “Even if it does, right? Like him and Gemma, let’s go! He is really in love with her, we understand that, but he keeps doing things to really push her away, in my opinion. “

Amber then intervened saying that Luca is “a bit of a brat”.



Podcast host Kem Cetinay then asked Amber and Ikenna what it really was like between Gemma and Luca inside the villa.

He said: “A lot of people say it’s even [with how they both feel] Would you say it is so? “

Amber agreed, saying, “I think she’s even, I think Gem has a bit of a serious face, so she doesn’t seem to like her very much, but deep down she does.”

Ikenna agrees that when Danica chose to partner with Luca when she first entered, he missed Gemma.



Arielle then asked if Luca liked to start arguing with the 19-year-old because she thought he liked being mad at her.

Amber added that “he’s used to doing what he wants”.

Although he saw similar characteristics between him and the islander, Kem called him “a very sensitive soul”.

She said, “He just wants reassurance from her and she doesn’t give it to him. Somehow she likes to provoke a little argument.

Amber then concluded her sentence by saying that she causes fights to “get it”. [some reassurance] outside her “.
