Emmerdale resident vicar Charles Anderson will have his world rocked next week when he finally reunites with his long-missing daughter, Naomi, played by actress Karene Peter.

His ex-wife Esme revealed that she had a 22-year-old son Charles knew nothing about, and months later it was finally time for the couple to reunite.

The following week, Charles is shocked by his son Ethan’s revelation that his sister Naomi is missing. Feeling guilty, Charles realizes that her disappearance is likely due to her reluctance to meet her and becomes determined to find her daughter.

While searching a bar, Charles is distraught when he sees Naomi arguing with her manager and leaps to her defense, pushing her boss back in the process.

Naomi is confused when she accidentally blurts out that she is her father, but how will she react?

Actress Karene may play a 22-year-old on the soap opera, but that’s not her real age.

Speaking to and other media about his life away from the ITV Dales, he explained: “I’m 30, I’ve been playing since I was about 18.

“I fell into it by chance, to tell the truth!” he snapped, “I was on a gap year from college working in the retail business, in the glamorous professional life, and I met someone, who is now a close friend of mine, who told me to go to acting classes.

“I’ve always been interested in theater and everything. So I took acting lessons and there was an agency affiliated with those classes, I signed up and fell in love with everything from there. It has been a long and interesting journey! “

Karene added: “Aside from that, I’m very interested in my physical condition, Kevin [Mathurin] I tell you. I sing too. I feel a little boring, I’m just a family oriented girl, so my grandchildren are my world. I am really a pretty laid back and relaxed person.

Karene actually found out about her successful Emmerdale audition during Sports Direct, laughing: “I found out … I was on Sports Direct, beautiful and charming. I got the call from my agent and I don’t know why, why not. it was for a great audition or something, but I had a feeling.

“It was really quite weird. So I got the call and it confirmed that feeling, and here we are! “

Emmerdale airs Monday through Friday from 7:30 pm on ITV.
