Christine McGuinness said she “follows her heart” after going on vacation without her husband Paddy McGuinness.

The 34-year-old model landed in the UK after a sunny holiday in Croatia with a group of friends and said in a post on social networks that she felt “blessed” to have created “memories that last a lifetime”.

Posting a Christmas photo gallery, the star wrote: “I followed my heart and it took me to Croatia” along with a heart emoji.

Christine appears to have enjoyed her stay, with shots including lounging by the pool in a bikini, a group photo of her team at the restaurant, and the standard airport photo, with Christine posing in front of the plane on the tarmac.

Earlier this year, Christine was diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. The condition, known as ADHD, makes people restless and impulsive and it is estimated that one in 25 adults in the UK suffer from it.

Christine considers her diagnosis liberating because it helps her understand some of its characteristics.

He said at the time: “I have now been diagnosed with ADHD, autism and dyspraxia.

“Knowledge is the key. If you know the situation, you are able to handle it. So getting a diagnosis really opened my life.

“It gave me a lot more opportunities to understand why it was the way it was.”

The couple share three autistic children: eight-year-old twins Leo and Penelope, and six-year-old youngest daughter Felicity.

Christine previously explained that she has not been able to relax on vacation since the birth of her children.

However, the model has managed to overcome her fears and has branched out in recent years.
