Tom Parker’s widow Kelsey said she had a hard time watching Love Island this year.

He said: “I found Love Island really hard to watch this year because I’d normally have Tom’s comments, so it’s those little things that I find difficult.
He continued: “Even when we were calling and texting, we were constantly texting if we weren’t together, then we miss someone.
“He was my best friend, so obviously I miss him a lot.”

Surprisingly, the 33-year-old singer only had a year to live in October 2020 when doctors tragically discovered stage four glioblastoma.
Tom went on his last tour with his bandmates shortly before his death on March 30, leaving behind his wife Kelsey, 32, and two young children, Bodhi, one, and Aurelia Rose, two.
Kelsey explained how difficult it can be to see photos of her late husband all over the house.

“There are so many great pictures of him, but I put them in other places because if you see them every day, it’s hard.”
The childhood sweethearts got married in 2018, but the two met at a club before Tom got famous with his bandmates.
Kelsey opened a GoFundMe page, in memory of her husband, who raised over £ 65,000.
Kelsey wrote on the page that “income [will] definitely [be] go to extraordinary causes in Tom’s name, to help others in need.

He added: “We simply could not have gotten through the last two years without the help and support we have received and if we could offer it to others it would be the best way to honor Tom and to make our two children, Aurelia and Bodhi proud.”
She struggled to break the devastating news to her two young children, explaining how she had to be truly honest with her young children about Tom’s death.

Tom looked exhausted on the tour, but his health seemed to be deteriorating rapidly and he decided he wanted to go to the South London Hospice.
Her funeral took place on April 20, and members of her gang carried her coffin to the parish church of St Francis of Assisi in Petts Wood, while Kelsey greeted her soul mate at the service held in the southeast of London.
