Lisa Wilkinson and Sandra Sully were once involved in a ‘fight over car space’.

Lisa Wilkinson has been swept away by a bad blood stream from the ranks of TV veterans past and present after her controversial Logies speech last Sunday.

Amid all the resurgence of criticism, an old rumor emerged that Wilkinson, 62, had an argument with Channel 10 reporter Sandra Sully in 2020 over a parking lot at the station’s Pyrmont studios, 57.

Ten security guards “set up a traffic cone to rescue Sully, apparently to no avail,” the Sydney Morning Herald reported on Saturday.

Rumors of a parking lawsuit were first reported since Women’s Day in 2020, with the magazine claiming that Wilkinson was “Sully’s park commander.”

“People are starting to separate because everybody loves Sandra and I know you’re really pissed off,” an alleged source told the magazine at the time.

“It’s just a small thing, but it turned into gossip with Ten. It’s not even a premium car space”.

The allegation resurfaced after Sully liked a tweet in which entertainment reporter Peter Ford raped Wilkinson’s speech, Daily Mail Australia reported on Wednesday.

The message read: “What a resonance for Lisa Wilkinson… if only she’d stuck to silly stories like the paparazzi who killed her in Chapel St.”

He referred to “past complaints like parking etc” in another tweet on Friday.

Tim Bailey, who is also a longtime 10-air conductor, snatched up Wilkinson in a cheeky tweet on Tuesday, calling him a “big head”.

Wilkinson was targeted after she named Brittany Higgins, the alleged rape victim, in a speech shortly after she won the Logie award for Outstanding News Coverage for her one-on-one interview with former ministry staff in 2021.

The thank-you speech led to the rape trial, which begins next week, to be postponed to October, which could lead to Wilkinson being charged in court with humiliation.

Meanwhile, Wilkinson canceled his appearance on The Project for a week after Network Ten threatened to take defamatory action against other media, following repercussions for his controversial Logies speech.
