Former Emmerdale star Roxanne Pallett was known in the UK until she appeared in Celebrity Big Brother and was involved in a life-changing explosive accident.
Roxanne Pallett rose to fame when she landed a role on Emmerdale in 2005 and became a household name.
Her time as Jo Stiles on the soap opera set her up for a bright future in show business and on television as she developed the character and eventually left the soap opera in 2009.
Over the years, she has been at the center of several compelling storylines, including an illicit relationship with Andy Sugden, feigning a pregnancy, enduring and ultimately escaping an abusive relationship with her on-screen husband.
Jo was last seen on Emmerdale viewer screens in 2009, when she fled the city to escape the poisonous clutches of her husband, Andy.
Since then, she has made guest appearances on various programs and even in Hollywood, but her reality casting casting was where she got into trouble.
big brother of celebrities

After her time in Emmerdale, 39-year-old Roxanne appeared in several reality shows including Celebrity Stars In Their Eyes, Soapstar Superstar, Dancing On Ice, and Celebrity Island With Bear Grylls.
However, his most notable appearance was on Celebrity Big Brother in 2018, where he caused a stir during his 17 days at home.
Roxanne, nee Roxanne Kaboli-Nejad, would be paid £ 750,000 for her appearance on the show, but things got out of hand when she accused CBB roommate and Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas of beating her up.

Viewers saw the on-screen couple arguing, with Roxanne telling Ryan “that fucking pain” at one point, and he quickly apologized.
However, he then spoke into his microphone saying, “I just got a hit from Corrie’s Jason Grimshaw. Big Brother hurts.”
She then asked to be called to the newspaper room to express her concerns about the incident.

Roxanne then added to Big Brother afterwards: “A child beat me repeatedly, unprovoked, completely deliberate. In fact, he hit me. As a boxer he would hit a lot! We weren’t fighting. It wasn’t a joke. it was no joke, there was no exchange.
“I can’t believe you’re leaving someone who did this alone. It’s not good !”
Big Brother then gave Ryan a formal warning in traumatic scenes for the viewer in which he was visibly upset by the allegations.
He replied: “From his point of view, yes (this is unacceptable). I think we both know, and Roxanne knows, that there was no malice, pain or anger in anything I did during that time.

“But from your point of view, while I’m doing this show, I’m sorry and I get it.”
The scenes prompted Ofcom’s 25,000 complaints and a backlash against Roxanne, with fans chanting “throw Roxy out” at the next eviction.
She then left after 17 days at home, as Ryan’s partner Lucy Mecklenburgh spoke in her defense and her brother Adam Thomas also criticized Roxanne for an interview she gave him.
career problems

Roxanne’s career seemed to be taking a dip after her stint at CBB with her only television appearances in the form of shows she had already pre-recorded: Celebrity Island With Bear Grylls and Celebrity Coach Trip in early 2019.
However, his time on Celebrity Island was also cut short when he quit after panicking at a bonfire that reminded him of a house fire as a child.
Previously, he had landed roles in blockbuster films such as Lake Placid, Wrong Turn 6: Last Resort and Devil’s Tower.
It has remained out of the limelight for the past few years and no new projects are in the works.
car crash

Roxanne was involved in an accident in a stock car race at Hunmanby Raceway in Yorkshire; however, it was later claimed that she exaggerated her injuries.
She was seen in footage obtained by The sun have a low-speed collision, leaving the car with minimal damage.
The former actress was flown to the hospital after claiming she passed out for 30 seconds after the accident, later claiming she “never felt pain like that” and felt her brain “wobble”.
But the race organizer said she wasn’t as badly injured as she claimed and used the blow as a way to gain exposure, as happened just before she was not scheduled to attend the Celebrity Big Brother.
Roxanne’s rep said at the time: “Roxanne never confirmed how fast she was driving when the accident occurred, it may have been reported but she never confirmed.
“It would have been impossible for her to know her speed as she was collapsing. The only qualified and absolutely impartial people present to assess Roxanne’s condition were the paramedics, who decided to take her to the hospital.
“At the time of the interviews and at the time of the race, Roxanne was not booked or in talks for Celebrity Big Brother. There is supporting evidence that it has been offered to The Sun ”.
find love

Roxanne was dating metalworker Lee Walton, whom she met online in late 2017 during her time at CBB after meeting on Instagram thanks to a shared appreciation for Elvis Presley.
The couple first met in December 2017 and he asked her to move in with him a week later and proposed the next day.
However, the couple ended their relationship shortly after leaving Celebrity Big Brother’s home.
In November 2019, after moving her life to the United States, Roxanne became engaged to firefighter and former Marrion at First Sight star Jason Carrion.

Two months later, on January 26, 2020, the couple got married at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in New York.
The couple met on the streets of New York and previously told Closer: “I got out of a cab and there he was!
“An hour later we were having coffee, which turned into brunch, which led to a three-hour stroll through Brooklyn. We shared stories we had never told others, it was magical.
“I never thought I’d smile again.

“I have met the love of my life and I feel mentally stronger. I really think all the negativity I’ve been through has pushed me to this point. In a way, I am grateful for everything that went wrong, even if it was brutal. “It was worth it because now I’m living my best life.”
In June 2021, they announced that they were expecting their first child together and decided to name their son Maverick.
