Pete Doherty was returning to Glastonbury to perform with the Libertines when he was seen signing the arm of a rocker fan on his way to Pilton’s Worthy Farm on Friday.
Known for his drug-ridden childhood and rock antics, the 43-year-old guitarist and singer is back at the music festival this year after adopting a clean lifestyle and moving to France.
Pete “married” to Kate Moss 11 years ago in a joke ceremony at the festival – the couple dated from 2005 to 2007.
Return: The rocker took the stage Friday, while Pete Doherty returned to Glastonbury to perform with the Libertines.
Moving away from his bad boy image, Pete is about to take the stage with his bandmates Carl Barât, John Hassall and Gary Powell.
Despite disbanding in 2004, the group reunited for a series of shows in 2020 and will be performing together again when the music festival returns for the first time in three years.

Known for a string of high-profile relationships in his heyday, the rocker had a tumultuous relationship with Kate Moss from 2005 to 2007.
The couple dated Glastonbury in 2005 and, while the singer was at the height of her fame, continued a £200 relationship with a daily heroin and crack addiction.

Back then: The couple broke up after a series of “burning fights” as Pete struggled with a £200-a-day heroin and crack addiction.

Fan Favorite: Pete leaned forward to autograph the fan’s tattooed arm while camping, donning a navy blue vest and shorts.
Revealing the details of the relationship in his all-encompassing memoir A Likely Lad, Pete described the couple’s split after a series of “hot fights” in which Kate beat him with his guitar.
But despite his turbulent past that kept him in prison for two months, Pete is now clean and enjoying life in France with his wife, Katia de Vidas.
Katia is the keyboardist for Pete’s other band, Puta Madres, which is his third musical project after The Libertines and Babyshambles.

Return: In the other stage, often referred to as the NME stage, the Libertines first kicked off their Glastonbury performance on Friday, followed by Kae Tempest

Clean Living: But despite his turbulent past, Pete is now clean and enjoying life in France with his wife, Katia de Vidas.
Acknowledging that life in France “makes it easier to be clean,” guard Pete had previously said: “This isn’t a big drug zone. Then of course everything stopped. So all the conditions were created to make it easier to be clean, even for a collaborative villain like me. It just wasn’t worth it.
And as he prepares to hit the stage again with the Libertines, the musician will be promoting his new image in front of a 200,000-strong crowd.
The other stage, often referred to as the NME stage, is the Libertines who first kicked off their Glastonbury performance on Friday, followed by Kae Tempest.
