The 79-year-old professional dancer took to Instagram this week to show off her new short hair, and many of her fans said the style looked “chic” to former Judge Strictly.
Former Strictly Come Dancing judge Arlene Phillips looks unrecognizable as she shows off her new hairstyle.
The 79-year-old took to Instagram earlier this week to share her transformation with her 40,400 followers.
Posting a selfie, the professional dancer looked impassive as she captioned the shot: “My hair !!! What do you think ? #haircut.”

Fans could see Arlene with much lighter brown hair, cut in a short bob up to the jaw and styled with a center parting.
It wasn’t long before some of her famous friends and fans commented on her new look, with many saying the style was very “chic”.
Writer Russell T Davies commented, “Great. You are wonderful, honey.
Actress Catherine Tyldesley said: “Love, love, love”.
One fan added: “I love it! Nice length. “
Another said, “Elegant and beautiful, it looks just right on you.”
Though the star looked fresh for her new hair debut, she recently embarked on a health journey after contracting the coronavirus.
The 79-year-old was stunned for nine days after falling ill with the virus and admitted she was struggling to get back in shape.

“After Covid I needed a reset, so I opted for the Lief diet program @champneysspa So that’s it. Eat healthy and exercise here I am. “
