Gordon Ramsay is set to return for another Road Trip series, months after lead actor Gino D’Acampo said the flamboyant chef was “too busy” to shoot more episodes.
Ramsay, 55, hopes to reunite with D’Acampo and Fred Sirieix when filming begins this year, and the fourth series of the airy travel show is expected to air in 2023.
The celebrity chef was initially thought to have retired due to conflicting business commitments, which led D’Acampo to argue that he would no longer be involved in his development.

She tweeted in November: “Sadly we will no longer be filming #GordonGinoandFred mainly because @gordongram is too busy working on her hair highlights in the US.
Ramsay’s current TV projects include BBC1’s Future Food and the UK version of the hit American show Next Level Chef, which will air on ITV.
He also starred in The Savoy, a new fly-by-the-wall show based on the daily maintenance of the flamboyant five-star hotel where he owns a restaurant.

A source told Il Sole: “He’s kind of a victim of his own success right now and has so much on his mind that it’s hard to adjust to everything.
She already has some sort of logistics conundrum as she coordinates her diary with busy Fred and Gino, and that’s before she tries to set up a series of still-undecided filming locations.
But they are determined to get back on track as soon as possible and deliver the new show as planned.”

A hit: Road Trip proved to be a critical and commercial success and was nominated for a BAFTA TV in 2019
The show’s first lineup aired in 2018 and saw the trio explore local culture and cuisine in Italy, France, and Scotland.
The 2019 Christmas special, titled “Christmas Road Trip: Three Unwise Men,” saw the group visit Morocco.
The 2021 series followed the trio as they explored Greece.
Road Trip proved to be a critical and commercial success and was nominated for a BAFTA on TV in 2019.
Already a big star in the United States, Gordon spent 16 years working with Fox on shows like Hell’s Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares.
