EastEnders star Max Bowden, who plays Ben Mitchell on the BBC soap opera, is reportedly dating his co-star, but it’s not the first time he’s been in a relationship with a colleague.
EastEnders actor Max Bowden, 27, is reportedly dating Whitney actress Dean Shona McGarty, 30.
Ben, who has played Ben Mitchell on the BBC soap opera since 2019, was previously in a relationship with his pregnant ex-girlfriend Roisin Buckle before embarking on a relationship with co-star Shona.
It’s not the first time the soap opera actor who starred in Waterloo Road, Casualty and Doctors is dating a colleague, reports the Daily Mirror.
Mom-to-be Roisin was heartbroken when photos of the actor leaving Shona’s home surfaced earlier this month after their recent separation.
A source explained to The sun :: “It was horrible for Roisin, she feels humiliated and despised. She is expecting a baby and although she is a strong woman, she is very disappointed.
They added, “He didn’t expect Max to move that fast. He believed they were on hiatus, taking time out of their relationship to sort out their differences.”
The Ben Mitchell actor was previously in a long-term relationship with Danielle McCarney, who he met on the set of EastEnders when she was the showrunner.
The actor described her as “the most beautiful woman on the planet” in a nice post to wish her a happy birthday.
Sadly, it was revealed that the couple split amicably in June 2021 after two years together.
Their split came just a month after Max EastEnders co-star Jessie Wallace, who plays Kat Mitchell, left a sexually explicit message on her Instagram post.
Max shared an old photo of the ex-NTA couple two years earlier and Jessie, 50, jokingly wrote: “Remember … if you need something to cry … I’m your girlfriend”, followed by a ‘ flashing emoji.
Prior to dating his colleague Danielle, Max was having an affair with insurance director Roisin prior to their split in March.
In a photo of the couple posted on his Instagram in February this year, Max wrote, “The course of true love has never gone smoothly” – William Shakespeare.
In April of this year, it was announced that Roisin and Max were expecting their first child together and were determined to co-parent their child.
