Susanna Reid has revealed the “perfect” weight loss advice that world heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury gave her.

Good Morning in the UK on Wednesday, the 51-year-old presenter told the 33-year-old athlete that she advised him to stop putting milk in his coffee, using his own advice to help Tyson lose weight.

Susanna had previously lost an astonishing two pounds by cutting out alcohol from her diet prior to the coronavirus blockade, but has recently admitted to gaining weight after suffering a “block crash.”

Speaking to lead actor Richard Madeley before Tyson’s interview, she said, “I once asked him how he could lose weight – Tyson and I have a story – because he’s done something amazing and has lost a huge amount of weight and is in good shape to fight.

“And I told him what the key was and he said, ‘Susanna, you should just leave the milk in your coffee – you’re drinking too much milk in your coffee’.”

Then she lifted her coffee and added, “It’s all black this morning, just in case.”

Despite following this particular advice, Susanna admitted to her father of six that she could not give up her beloved takeaways.

He added: “Unfortunately I can’t stop dinner”.

Last month, Susanna shut down a Twitter troll asking her if she had “gained weight” and calling it “disgusting” in a brutal comment.

The announcer shared an article about the similarities of her dresses with Joan Collins before getting a rude response from the user.

The critic tweeted: “Are you gaining weight? You look so fat ”- witty Susanna simply replied“ yes ”.

Susanna tweeted the quoted question and wrote “yes”.

While he seemed to be coping well with the rude encounter, many fans and users flocked to the tweet’s reply section to show their disbelief and support.

It is known that Susanna has spoken openly about her weight and admitted that she had previously struggled with a “crash blockade” and gained weight as a result of the pandemic.

Susanna sought her advice in a conversation with Joe Wicks in November 2020 in preparation for another blog.

“I intend to fight the block stone that continues through the first block. I really don’t want another one in the second block,” he explained.

While Joe recommends exercising regularly and cutting out certain foods to prevent weight gain.
