The Love Island stars make a lot of money after they leave the village, but some of this year’s islanders don’t necessarily need the extra money, some in the triple digits before they get in.
Love Island bosses surely listened to the crowd as fans begged to see more “normal” people in the village, with stars with jobs and salaries from all over the world joining the series this year.
The villa has hosted stars from sports, NHS and hospitality, all thrown into the same house for eight weeks possible.
Whether they choose to return to their daily work or enjoy the success of their village, all of today’s islanders come from a working-class background, even if not all of them have been able to spend their money with the same freedom.
But who made a lot of money before entering the village?
Jacques O’Neill – £ 90,000 – £ 140,000

Jacques O’Neill earns a pretty decent salary as part of his rugby union career for the Castleford Tigers.
In addition to his annual salary, he has an estimated net worth of over £ 1 million, so his time on the show is likely to add to his earnings and success.
The star has played 29 times for the Castleford Tigers since signing in 2019, and in another proud moment of his career he was named to the England Knights performance squad in 2021.
However, he has now been released from his contract to allow him to appear on the ITV show this summer.

Gemma Owen – varies

Gemma Owen is a difficult woman to follow when it comes to her annual income, mainly because it varies a lot.
Though only 19, the star has at least three sources of income in addition to her family’s wealth, ranging from her training camps, her business and Instagram.
In dressage she can earn up to £ 15,000 per win, and although her swimwear brand OG Beachwear has suffered a loss in the last financial year, that’s another deal behind her.
Elsewhere, Gemma’s Instagram can gross a lot of money and, having garnered 82,000 followers before her term, would have charged at least £ 700 per sponsored post.
Ekin-Su – £ 16,000 per episode

Ekin-Su is another star with a varied revenue stream, making money both as an actor and on Instagram.
His work on a Turkish TV series earns him £ 16,000 per episode and, after starring in seven, means he has earned £ 112,000 for a year of work.
Ekin-Su has also worked as a model in the past and had an impressive following on Instagram before her death which means she can earn around £ 1,000 per sponsored post.
Andrew LePage – £ 50,000

Andrew Le Page is selling a property in Dubai, so it’s no surprise that he brings home the bacon.
His work makes him the second-highest paid islander in the village, and the star earns money on top of his salary from his commission.
The star is also a qualified personal trainer, although there is no evidence to suggest how much money she has been making from the season.
Hope Dami – £ 31,500

Senior microbiologist Dami has built his successful career solely on intelligence.
It’s all hard work and new discoveries outside the village, but inside the village it’s something very different as the star focuses on romance rather than science.
Prior to her time at the mansion, Dami had already been praised for her fashion sense, so it’s likely that after she leaves she will receive countless offers, but will she later return to her career? Only time will tell!
Paige Thorne – £ 30,600

Salaries of paramedics change as they spend time at work.
Paige, who served as a NHS paramedic for two years after her initial training, currently earns £ 30,600 and, having promised to return after the show, could earn £ 37,890 in five years.
Even if Paige decides to return to her job as an ambulance assistant, Instagram will likely become a secondary source as the star already has 162,000 followers and is likely to grow.
Davide Sanclimenti – £ 29,000

Davide became director of his own company in May 2021.
ALL RIGHT! reports that the star averages around £ 29,000 a year after starting her successful business, S Deluxe Shisha.
The star was also a model before her time on the show and with nearly 100,000 subscribers she’s likely to do a few models later.
Amber Beckford – £ 28,600

Amber Beckford has the potential to earn nearly £ 30,000 a year as a full-time nanny, a job she loves.
But while she babysat during the week, she lived a life of luxury outside of her day job, with lavish parties and dating surrounding her lifestyle.
Amber has now continued to grow her Instagram page as her followers continue to grow, so she can amass even more money after her season at the mansion.
Polish Indiya – £ 22,000 +

Although Indiyah’s annual salary is the lowest among the islanders, it is not at the bottom as she also makes extra money through modeling and her work as an influencer.
Being a waitress is her daily job, but she already had a large following before entering the village and had worked on previous projects as a model.
His sessions have earned him extra money, although the exact income from his side concerts is unknown.
Ikenna Ekwonna – £ 25,000

Ikenna, like Dami, came from the science sector.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in biomedical sciences, he worked as a qualified specialist pharmaceutical sales representative at Astrazeneca CVRM.
He worked for the company during the pandemic and continued to do so afterwards.
Ikenna was also trained as an online physical therapist, so she also had the potential to increase her income there.
Luca Bish – £ 23,000

Luca Bish, who sells fish, has a bachelor’s degree in fisheries and fisheries science and management (it’s a big year for science) and has become a fishmonger in Brighton.
However, it appears the star was doing a few things aside, as she garnered more celebrity relationships ahead of her time on the show, including relationships with Saffron Barker and Patsy Palmer.
