She shared her sad finding on Instagram, saying the hair looked red but may have faded over the years.
Paul added: “I haven’t opened it and I’m not going to, in fact I’m going to bury it again because it’s not only weird but also a little scary. Any idea what it is?”

Fellow announcer Zoe Ball said it looked like something straight out of Tales of the Unexpected and could “bring a good harvest.”
Celebrity chef Andi Oliver said, “Shit! Yeah, put it down quick! Ouch!”
Another fan assumed it was a gut, while another curious fan urged Paul, 66, to take a DNA test.

More helpful comments came in, including one person who said it may have been a Wicca tradition to bury the hair of a deceased person, as “he always kept their spirit.”
“I would bury him again,” they insisted.
Another person simply said “put your house up for sale” and another chimed in: “It’s a witch bottle, buried to protect the occupants of the house and serve as a protective amulet.

It may be full of urine and some alcohol. It’s basically a spell in a bottle.
Paul then posted an update for his many followers. He said, “Thanks for all your comments on this, whatever it is, I buried it in the woods. Tonight it’s a supermoon and tomorrow is my birthday, so I’m taking no chances!”
