Jason Statham is once again planting a large schedule showdown on the screen.
One of his most successful films in recent years, The Beer of the “beekeeper” officially receives a sequel. The new director Timo Tahyanto has already confirmed that the preparation is in full swing.
According to the director known for the films “And the Night Comes” and “Shadows of the Wanderers”, the work on the “Imkeper 2” went into the active phase:
“Only two days ago I was in London and I chose locations for filming, and now in Los Angeles. To be honest, I can’t stand it. In the first part there was a great mixture-bike absurd in a good sense, a world of secret agents and at the same time a genuine, serious tone.”
Tyhayanto also noted that the continuation of the “beekeeper” for him echoed with another project – the sequel “Nobody 2” with the Bob Odenkirka, which was released on August 15, 2025:
“Like in the case of Bob, I like to talk about heroes who realize that they are getting older, but keep going, despite the tiredness and fate.”
The beekeeper, shot by David Ayer according to the script of Kurt Wimmer, introduced the audience to Adam Clea – appearance an ordinary beekeeper, but in fact a former hunter of the top -class organization “beekeepers”. After his closest girlfriend falls victim to scammers and ends with him, glue arranges bloody revenge.
The film has become a cash hit and one of the best Statham projects in the past decade:
