One of the most tragic moments in the Saga was not enough to feel sorry for the actor.
The death of Albus Dumbledore in the film Harry Potter and Prince-Hall-Prince was one of the most difficult moments for the public when it first saw that many Severus Sneep was ready. But for the performer of this role, Alan Rickman, the scene was not that moving.
In the published diaries of the actor included in the book ‘Madly, Deeply: The Diaries of Alan Rickman’, he admits that he remained unhappy with how the keys scene was shot. According to him, the screen version has lost tension and emotional depth.
“The scene on the screen for some reason is deprived of drama. This is a direct consequence of scenarios, where we have to simplify history for the sake of reduction. As a result, we do not remember what every hero moves and no worries about them,” wrote Rikman.
He believed that the film was overloaded with characters, and that is why it was difficult for the public to really delve into everyone’s motives. Even the death of Dumbledore was, according to Ricman, in the shadow of the confrontation of Sneep and Draco Malfidus.

The actor separately called the replica of his hero, who was in the script: “I gave a word. I swore.” In the film she had to remind the audience of the oath that Draco’s mother gave.
But Rikman insisted that the expression had to be removed: “This replica confuses and fades the scene alone.”
As a result, we only hear Avad Kedaur at the moment.
Ricman always remained extremely collected on the set. Tom Felton, who played Draco, remembered how he accidentally stepped on the edge of his cloak:
“At one point he immediately told me:” Don’t get on my damn cloak. “I laughed, thought it was a joke, but I quickly realized that he was absolutely serious.”
