It is officially confirmed: the comedy TV series Apple TV+ “Ted Lasso” still receives the fourth season, and it will not be necessary to wait so long.
Although the project was initially conceived as a story with three season, the interest of spectators and discussions on the sidelines did their work – the new season was given in March 2025 the green light.

The head of Warner Bros. Television and WBD US Networks Channing Dangi in an interview with Variety said that the release of the Teda Lasso season is approximately planned for Half2026. There are no exact dates yet, but in negotiations with Apple TV+ the deadlines “from the middle of the second quarter” sound. The shooting started only a month ago, so the process is already in full swing.
“You can believe that we are in order again?” Dangi noticed. “I didn’t even believe we will achieve this, but here we are. And I am happy with the new acting.”
In the fourth season, Ted returns to Richmond, but now he records the women’s football team of the Second Division. The task is to collect a new team, to teach players to take risks and to act without hesitation, and at the same time help the club continue with rebranding and internal changes. New characters and lines appear in history, and part of the action will not only unfold in the UK, but also in the US.

Who returns to the team
In the new series, the audience again sees Jason Sudekis (Ted Lasso), Brett Goldstin (Roy Kent), Brendan Hunt (coach Bird) and Hannah Weddingham (Rebecca Welton). Fei Marsei, Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Abby Hern, Rex Hayes and Aisling Sharki joined the cast. The role of the son of Ted, Henry, will now play a subsidy from Fili, which has replaced, Turner has.
