The third season of the “The Summer When I was pretty” series has already been released, and one of the storylines caused a particularly violent reaction.

The discussion flared up in social networks immediately after the premiere, and now the actors themselves came to them – each with their own view of the controversial episode.

We are talking about the line of relationships between the main character – Isabella “Belly” Confin – with Jeremeya. According to the plot of the third season, she stays with him after saying goodbye to Konrad. Already in the first series, however, information is that Jeremeya had changed during a trip to Cabo on the belly.

According to Lola Tang, playing the leading role, the situation was not unambiguous:

“It doesn’t matter if someone regards it as a betrayal or not, is still wrong,” said the actress in an interview with Elle. – Personally, I don’t think they said goodbye or have taken a break. The fight was too fast, everything happened sharp. “

She also noted that the responsibility is not only on one of the heroes:

“Belly is also not without sin. She did not try to contact him. There was also a lot of confusion in her head.”

The performer of the role of Jeremeya-Gavin Kasleno-advanced in an interview with Vanity Fair that the action of his hero is difficult to justify, but he does not consider a completely black and white situation:

“I understand why both characters feel that way, and both positions have the right to exist. He has acted incorrectly, but there are no clear limits.”

Chris Brini, who played Conrad, did not occupy any of the parties:

“This is a gray zone. But believe that there was a break in the relationship?

The author of the original novels, as well as the show grant of the Jenny Khan series, also joined the discussion. She confirmed that she herself could not give an unambiguous assessment of the plot turn with betrayal: “This is a controversial moment – whether it is considered a betrayal. Technically separated at that time. It all depends on perception.”
