The real story of the “Murder of the Whitehouse Farm” is frightening: this is who the murderer actually is

The plot of the “Farm Whitehouse” series (in the original – White House FARM) It may seem like a typical example of a British criminal drama, but behind this film, adaptation is one of the most contradictory processes in the history of Great Britain.

Five people from one family were shot in their own house – and decades later the audience still makes who was really guilty.

The series was built on real events that took place in August 1985. He was broadcast more than thirty years after the tragedy – but even today there are many questions, lawsuits and active supporters of both the charges and the protection surrounding this case.

What happened on the Whitehouse Farm?

In the early morning of 7 August 1985 there was an alarming conversation in the city of Chelmsford. The man who introduced himself to Jeremy Bamber said his father called him and said:

“Your sister has gone crazy. She has a gun. “

According to him, a shot was heard and the connection was interrupted.

When the police arrived at the place and entered the house, they waited for a scene of Massamoord. Were shot in the country house in the county of Essex:

  • 61-year-old Neville Bamber
  • His wife June
  • Their adoption -Daughter Sheila
  • As well as her six -year -old twin sons Nicholas and Daniel

Who is Jeremy Bamber?

Jeremy was born in January 1961 and was taken over by Neville and June when he was six months old. At the time of the murder he was 24 years old. He worked on a family farm and lived separately – in his father’s house, in the neighboring village of Goldenger.

After the tragedy, Bamber claimed that his sister Sheila, who suffered from schizophrenia, committed the murders. The scene of crime really looked like a mass murder with subsequent suicide: Sheila was found with a gun in his hands.

Why did Bamber suspect?

The police changed the version after the girl’s testimony Jeremy – Julie Magford. She said he wanted to get an inheritance and planned the murder of his parents beforehand.

“He spoke about loving them and arranging arson. Then the plan changed: he was going to hire a murderer,” she said in the court in 1986.

Moreover, three days after the murder in the house there was an exhaust of a gun, on which there were supposedly traces of Sheila’s blood. The research was of the opinion that because of the nature of the wounds she could not place it physically in a cupboard after photographing. They also found no traces of weapon oil on her nightdress.

The court found Bamber guilty of the murder of the whole family.

Why do many think he is innocent?

Bamber denied his debt over the whole years. He repeatedly submitted a profession, but not one was not successfully crowned. Nevertheless, a group of supporters formed around him, who believe that the court was unfair. Lawyers asked to postpone the show of the series until the end of the last hearing, but it didn’t help.

Former son -in -law of Bamber, Colin Kffell (father of the dead twins), said in an interview:

“He was incredibly charismatic. I am sure that he will now remain the same charming.
Psychopaths are not an expert, but I think he is so – naturally charming. “

The famous British human rights activist Peter Thatchell also criticized the punishment:

“He clearly did not receive an honest court. We only spoke through correspondence, but he impressed the balanced, smart and friendly person. I cannot say whether he is guilty or not, but people who are known personally say that he does not look like a mass murderer.”
