It seems that they will not stop in Hollywood: the wave of revival of the old cult series continues, and now even “supernatural” can fall underneath.
Despite the earlier statements that the series is completely closed, his stars – Jensen Ackes, Jared Padaleki and Misha Collins – carefully discuss the hypothetical format of return.
In an interview, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the series, the actors were immediately asked in which form they could represent the revival of the project. The answers first sounded jokes: Collins offered a puppet show, Padaleki – Anime.
But after laughter, the conversation became more serious. Jared Padaleki noted:
“Twenty years have passed. We have all got older. I am not sure if I have enough strength for 22 episodes” Supernatural. “I think the size of the mini series would be perfect.”
The issue of a possible change in the tone of the series did not go unnoticed either. ACKLES admitted that he thought, what would be a show, it was not on television, but immediately on streaming:
“It would certainly be stricter, closer to the rating r. But to be honest, it seems to me that it is now a betrayal to change the tone. Yet we have adhered to a certain atmosphere for so many years. It makes more sense to save it. “
Padaleki added that it was the limitations of ethereal television that forced them to look for non -standard movements: “This also had their own magic. We managed to go very far, which remained in the context. This was a real creative task.”

Collins, in turn, said that he immediately asked show grid and maker of the Eric Kripka series for a possible restart. The answer was extremely simple:
“He said that if he returned to the” supernatural “, he wants it to be as frightening as possible.”
Padaleki was not surprised – according to him it was such a style of crypt and came to the “boys”. Ackles agreed: “He is already doing it. This is” guys “.”
So far there are no officials to restore the “supernatural”. But taking into account the general trend in the industry and how carefully the actors started to discuss that the return conversations can quickly become slightly more specific. Although one thing is understandable: there will be no “supernatural” before. The time is different, the audience is different, the era has disappeared.
