This fall, anyone who enjoys a gothic atmosphere and has been secretly preparing for Halloween since September 1 will watch ‘It’s All Agatha’. Despite the fact that the first horror film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was planned as ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’, Agatha Harkness’ solo film is now being called the scariest project – although only two episodes have been released so far.
But that is not only due to the excellent cocktail of tension and humor; the series also perfectly conveys the witchy atmosphere. For example, 8 well-known witches are mentioned in the credits: did you recognize them all?
The closing credits of “It’s All Agatha” are filled with references to a variety of elements of witches’ history. We also noticed familiar animals: a black cat and a rabbit, and remembered in time that Agatha also had a rabbit at home.
You can also see a pentagram there – it’s hard to say where exactly it comes from, but it could be a reference to both “Charmed” and “Supernatural” or “Sleepy Hollow”. Experienced fortune tellers, of course, certainly noticed the tarot deck – it seems that “It’s All Agatha” decided to please all lovers of mysticism with small Easter eggs.
New episodes air every Wednesday, and the two-episode season finale is scheduled for October 30, just before Halloween. The season premiere took place on September 18 – also “double”. This means that we, lovers of witches, witchcraft and secrets, have something to watch all October long!
