Cinderella does not like her sisters and stepmother, and does not even really hide it, and her communication with birds is generally a bit witchy, and not “like princesses in fairy tales”.
Well, if you’re ready for some real drama, turn on Alice, Darling – it stars Kendrick and centers around abusive relationships and the way out. This is a much heavier and more serious film than Twilight and Into the Woods, so it’s hardly suitable for light Friday viewing.
