On review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, Dark Winds outperformed its predecessor with a 100% rating versus 92%.
“In one breath! Everything about it is excellent: the story, the work of the film crew, the actors and of course the landscape. I recommend you to watch it, but not in the background”, said one of the domestic TV viewers sharing her impressions.
Although the thriller did not attract much attention in Russia, it did gain a small fan base, earning it a rating of 7.4 out of 10.
