You probably know this feeling when you yourself know that the result of your work, to put it mildly, has not turned out so well. This happens to everyone – even prominent Hollywood stars! In the cinema, many actors do not like some of their work – sometimes it seems undeserved, and sometimes they are absolutely right.

There may be a few more people in our selection that most movie buffs will find hard to agree with. It is unlikely that we would be mistaken if we assume that these are the stars of great and beloved franchises around the world – “Harry Potter” and “Star Wars”.

After Miriam Margolyes suddenly started talking so condescendingly about adult Harry Potter fans and advising them to finally say goodbye to childhood and forget about their beloved universe, she was met with a barrage of criticism from Potter fans.

Of course, the actress didn’t criticize the films directly: on the contrary, she emphasized that the series is beautiful and she’s proud to have been a part of it; but still, “that was 25 years ago.” Fans of The Boy Who Lived, however, chose to ignore her advice to “grow up” – and in return advised her to have more respect for the people she makes money from.

Alec Guinness’s position also confused many Star Wars fans: after all, the actor received 2.5% of all box office receipts – and earned more than $100 million from it before his death in 2000.
