Little-known British TV series worth your attention.

British TV series have long established themselves in the international film arena – many British TV hits have had American adaptations, for example ‘The Office’. Fans of the American Brooklyn Nine-Nine may know this British sitcom starring Andy Samberg, but Kuku is still an underrated gem. Samberg plays the American hippie who the main character marries. Kuku is a brilliant culture-clash comedy that is light and fun. And you can see some unexpected familiar faces there too – one of the roles in the series was played by the werewolf from Twilight, Taylor Lautner.

Another great British project of recent years is ‘Ghosts’. The series follows a young couple who are down on their luck in the property market until one of them unexpectedly inherits a huge estate. When the couple arrives, one of them has the ability to see strange ghosts that have been gathering in the walls of the house for many, many centuries.

The series recently ended, ending with a beautiful Christmas episode. And just a few years ago, CBS in America released its remake, which became more popular than the original. So if you’re done watching Ghosts, you can always continue with the American version.
