One of the most unexpected and unusual films in our selection is a Korean action film called “Hunters of the Wasteland”. The protagonist of this film, Ma Dong Seok, is probably known to you, if not from Train to Busan, then from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In Hunters of the Wasteland, the actor is once again hunting zombies, this time as an explorer in a wasteland trying to save a kidnapped man from a mad scientist.
‘Hunters of the Wasteland’ is a sequel to the movie ‘The Revenants’. Concrete Utopia”, but it works well as a standalone story, so even if you haven’t seen “Concrete Utopia” yet, you’ll understand everything perfectly. Also, fans of horror in the spirit of “Train to Busan” will definitely enjoy the movie.
Well, if you prefer something a little less exotic, check out “Furiosa” starring Anya Taylor-Joy. Despite the fact that many were waiting for the story of Furiosa, the film underperformed in theaters – so a digital release took place almost immediately.
