The third season of the popular anime ‘Reincarnation as a Slime’ is coming to an end. Fans of the series about a simple man who turns into an ordinary snail in a fantasy world have one question: will the Fuse anime get a fourth season?
Considering the popularity of the cartoon in Japan, most fans are confident that the producers will definitely extend the project for another 24 episodes. However, 8-Bit studio has not released any official confirmation yet.
To reassure fans, we decided to study the original light novel and prove that About My Reincarnation as a Slime will definitely return for a fourth season.
From the very beginning of the anime, the writers followed the plot of the light novel closely, so none of the fans were surprised that the third season would end with the end of the festival arc. There are only 3 episodes left until the finale of this plot, and those who have read the light novel are well aware that the writers will not dare to end the whole show with the end of the festival. It just doesn’t make any sense.
In the light novel, the festival arc ended on a huge cliffhanger, and afterwards Rimuru and his friends found themselves in big trouble. The light novel continued for almost 10 volumes after the end of the festival, so fans are waiting to see the legendary ‘imperial’ arc in the anime.
If the writers break the logic of the original light novel, fans will hate the 8-Bit studio and refuse to look at its other projects.
The producers simply have no choice – fans are sure that the anime “About My Reincarnation as a Slime” will be renewed not only for a fourth season, but also for a fifth season.
Episode 22 of season 3 will be released on September 13, with the season finale expected on September 27.
