The same cannot be said of Viktor Krum, a student at Durmstrang and the youngest Seeker on the Bulgarian Quidditch team.

And the filmmakers found an actor to suit the character – he was played by the Bulgarian Stanislav Yanevsky with the gentle brutality and athletic physique inherent in his appearance.
Interestingly, he did not apply to take part in the filming at all and simply accompanied a friend during a screen test, but he caught the attention of one of the producers and after three long auditions beat out 600 candidates.
The actor appeared twice in the franchise: in 2005 in Goblet of Fire and in 2010 in the first part of Deathly Hallows.
Unfortunately, the dance scene with Hermione was cut from the final version, causing confusion and outrage among fans.
Between these two films, Yanevsky took part in the filming of the horror film Hostel 2, but remained unnoticed in a supporting role.
Since then he disappeared from the radar for some time and developed a career in his home country. In 2011 Stanislav took part in two projects: the military thriller ‘Resistance’ and the crime action film ‘Under Cover’.
His biggest work was the 2021 Swedish action film ‘John Wood. Last Blood’.
The artist is also interested in motorcycles, mountain biking and, of course, like his most famous hero, is still actively involved in sports.
