From a galaxy far, far away: the Star Wars anime awaits a sequel

Fans of the great saga and Japanese animation will be surprised.

The anime series Star Wars: Visions, released in 2021 on the Disney+ streaming platform, has been renewed for a second season.

In the first season, viewers saw nine short episodes. The project combined stories from a galaxy far, far away and medieval Japan. On the authoritative portal Rotten Tomatoes, the series scored a score of 96% among film critics. Viewers rated it slightly lower: 67%.

The second season of the anime series will air in the spring of next year. The exact release date was not mentioned. This became known through the official account of the franchise in social networks.

Earlier, another popular anime series “Gods bless this wonderful world!” a sequel. Fans of the cartoon are also waiting for a full-fledged spin-off.
