‘Train to Busan’ is rightfully one of the best Korean horror films that has reached a wide audience. Briefly about the plot: suddenly there is a passenger on the train who is infected with a deadly virus, which spreads very quickly to the rest, so that only a small group of people can escape.
The plot is so intriguing that many would like to see a sequel. And now it seems that this miracle is being released – a horror film called “Ship to Busan”. But do not rush to rejoice.

And at the very least, this name is just a hoax. The film has nothing to do with The Train. Its translation is a cunning trap by localizers, who decided that if everything is translated with the name of the transport and Busan, the film is doomed to success. No, with a budget of $8,800,000, the film made $3,630,345 worldwide.
The film is generally translated as “Wolf Hunt”. In the story, Korean criminals arrested in the Philippines are delivered to the port of Busan by cargo ship. And although the convoy is under strict surveillance by experienced agents, the bandits manage to organize a real riot. But soon all the “passengers” are confronted with something terrible and unexpected.
Sounds pretty good overall, right? But in reality, the horror movie is not worth your time at all. We won’t spoil it, but in short, the overly experienced police officers, as usual, failed to notice the most important thing: neither the villain, nor the mountains of secretly transported weapons, nor the werewolves in uniform preparing the riot.
Usually they simply asked their opponents: “Who are you?”, after which they died immediately. By the way, this phrase appeared so often in the film that it has already become a local meme. In general, this picture has nothing in common with the cult horror film. I hate the directors for the plot, and the translators for their deception.
