In recent years, Russia has released many multi-part horror films, for which there is no shame. “Swamp,” “Food Block,” “Epidemic” – all received high marks from critics and amassed an impressive fan base. It’s just a shame, with full-length horror films everything is still very bad.
Lists of bad-looking, stupid and downright creepy horror films can be compiled for a long time and according to different criteria, but this anti-rating is the most objective, because it is compiled according to KinoPoisk estimates.

“The Mystery of the Old Cemetery” opens a not very honorable top with a rating of 2.83/10 (believe it or not, the following films have an even lower rating). This horror film is called “super trash”, while everything is so bad that it even becomes good.
Instead of human intestines, the makers used pieces of veal, the deceased was placed in the coffin with bare feet and the local zombies were clearly played by extras who were on the set for the first time.
It is even worse in ‘Path of Death’ (2.73). The filmmakers seemed to be impressed with the aesthetic of “The Ring,” but they didn’t have enough talent or money for a high-quality remake. Few viewers even thought that “The Trail” was filmed with a cheap camera.
“Nosferatu. Horror of the Night” is a cartoon, but even the good art in some places did not convince the Russians to give it a rating higher than 2.6 points. Catastrophically bad animation, coupled with strange-looking models, discouraged adult viewers to touch Nosferatu, and children should not look at it at all.
Nothing good can be said about “Dislike” with “Zombie Vacation” – 1.5 points, respectively. These films starred Yulia Volkova, Mikhail Efremov, Maria Wei and many other famous actors and bloggers, but even they could not create a disastrous script and cheap special effects.
