Fans of the streaming giant are “addicted” to the “engaging” drama inspired by Harlan Coben’s book of the same name
Published as a novel in 2016, Fool Me Once follows novels such as The Stranger and Stay Close, making it the eighth addition to Netflix’s Harlan Coben collection.
The author posted his New Year’s wishes and tuned in to the new series at the same time.
He said, “Happy New Year.” All 8 episodes of Fool Me Once are now streaming on @Netflix. I hope 2024 is your best year yet.”
In the series, Michelle Keegan plays the apparent widow Maya Stern, but after receiving a hidden baby monitor, she sees her late husband Joe – played by Richard Armitage – on camera.
This revelation plunges Maya into a world of conspiracy as she wonders what really happened to her partner and what role his family, and especially his mother (Joanna Lumley as Judith Burkett), played in the saga.
