Jeremy Renner, 52, made a special visit to the hospital where he was treated following his near-fatal snowplowing accident nearly a year ago this week. The actor took to social media to share several photos from the parade in Reno, NV and added touching captions revealing that he was “celebrating” and grateful for the community.

“Passing through Reno, NV with joy, blessings and ????!!!!,” Jeremy wrote next to a photo of him sitting in what appeared to be an emergency vehicle that had the logo of his nonprofit Rennervation Foundation, which provides “robust, compassionate support to vulnerable children,” according to their website. .

Jeremy has been very open about his recovery process since being released from the hospital and has spoken about the ups and downs he’s been through. Jeremy made his first red carpet appearance since the accident in April and revealed he has been regularly experimenting with different forms of therapy. “I have been exploring ALL types of therapy since January 14th… every day, countless hours of physical therapy, peptide injections, IV drips and injections, stem cells and exosomes, red/IR light therapy, hyperbaric chamber 2.0 atmospheres, immersion in cold and the list is endless,” he wrote in an Instagram post.

“My greatest therapy has been my mind and the will to be here and fight to recover and get better,” he added. “Be great… I feel like it’s my duty to do so.”
