Find out now: The Movie Audio Society has set key dates for the 2022-23 awards season. The 59th Annual SAC Awards Ceremony will take place on Saturday 4 March, live and in person. The place is to be defined.
The nominations, which include film, television, production and post-production productions, will be announced on January 25th. See full deadlines below.

“The Cinema Audio Society is delighted to celebrate another year of great sound mixing,” said Carol Urban, President of CAS. “The number and range of jobs to consider is growing every year. We are thrilled to experience and celebrate this year’s stellar achievements. “
The winners of the CAS Professional Achievement Award and the CAS Filmmaker Award will be announced later in the year.
Here are the key dates of the CAS Awards 2023, followed by the dates of the Student Recognition Awards (also from the Pacific):

The application deadline is 5pm.

Voting for nominations begins online

The online voting for the nomination will end at 17:00.

Final candidates in each category are announced in the media and online.

Deadline for rectification of errors and omissions in the list of candidates
February 9
Final voting begins online
February 21
The final voting will end online at 17:00
4th March
CAS 59th annual awards
Deadlines for the 2022 Student Recognition Award:

Application forms are available online

Online applications by 17:00 (partial or incomplete applications will not be considered at the end)

The last five candidates for the Student Recognition Award will be announced on the CAS website.
