Bobby Brazier has been supportive of Tillie Amartey all along, as he gave his ex-girlfriend his stern advice ahead of her appearance on the show’s Christmas special.
The duo was last spotted together in August 2021. A source said they ended their relationship in March 2022, but during his Strictly experience, the EastEnders actor was said to have been “messaging constantly” Tillie.
According to The Mirror, he shared a “sweet” message with the 20-year-old Waterloo Road actress before her performance.
Speaking to the publication, she said: “In his cute Essex accent, he just said, ‘Screw it, Til… you’ll do great, honey.
“Of course, Bob, my Bob, he did so well. “He is just like me: if he wants to do something, he will work very hard for it.”

Meanwhile, Tillie will perform alongside professional dancer Neil Jones as she takes on her celebrity colleagues Danny Cipriani, Keisha Buchanan, Dan Snow, Sally Nugent and Jamie Borthwick on the dance floor.
She admitted: “I have no dancing experience… Neil is the most patient man I’ve ever met!” When you take on Strictly, it’s a tsunami of glitter. “You can’t swim against it, you have to ride the wave.”
Tillie plays Stacey “Stace” Neville in Waterloo Road and is the third star of the school drama to join the Strictly cast.
This year Adam Thomas combined filming for the BBC drama with Saturday night rehearsals, and the year before Kym Marsh also took part in the show.
Tillie revealed that the Waterloo Road set now has a purpose-built training studio awaiting its budding dance stars.
