The International Emmys 2023 honor the winners and the comedy Derry girlsthe stand-up special For Das: Landing and the drama series The Empress received the highest awards.
Derry girls of Great Britain and For Das: Landing of India took the same place in the comedy category and won the award. Germany The Empress won in the “Drama Series” category. Karla Souza won the award in the Best Performance by an Actress category for her work in La Caidawhile That of the respondent Martin Freeman won the award for best performance by an actor.
The special Founders Emmy® was presented by Casey Bloys, Chairman and CEO of HBO and Max Content, to Jesse Armstrong, creator of the hit HBO show “Succession.”
“In a turbulent time, television is once again proving a common denominator for people around the world,” said Bruce L. Paisner, president and CEO of the International Academy. “The International Academy is proud to highlight these outstanding programs and achievements around the world.”
