Taylor Swift Resells Tickets To Her Australian Eras Tour Open – Here’s How To Get A Seat And What You Could Pay For It

Taylor Swift’s resale tickets for her upcoming Australian Eras Tour officially went on sale on Friday.

Swifties now have the opportunity to purchase previously purchased tickets they no longer need through the official Ticketek Marketplace Lounge.

However, fans should prepare for long waits and possible missing out as hundreds of thousands of Australians are expected to flock to the venue.

When visiting the Marketplace Lounge, fans are greeted with the message: “Ticket availability is therefore dependent on fans submitting their tickets for resale.”

“Ticketek’s fan-to-fan market is up and running. You will be redirected to the Marktplaats website shortly.’

Unfortunately it looks like there are already delays and many are heading to X to complain about the site crashing and not letting them through.

The resale site opened at 10am and is active until Friday, December 15.

There is no clear prediction about the number of tickets that will be sold on the platform, as it is limited to those who have already bought a ticket and no longer need their ticket.

Due to strict scalping laws, fans do not have to pay significantly more than the original price of a ticket, as tickets cannot be sold for more than ten percent of their original purchase price.

When they went on sale earlier this month, ticket prices ranged from $79.90 for the cheapest seats to $379.00 for the first Class A reserve seats.

On the resale platform, the highest regular ticket price is $416.90.

For those who want a VIP package, prices range from a minimum of $385.90 to a hefty $1374.90 for a single pass.

Fans who manage to purchase a resold ticket will go through a reissue process where they will receive new barcodes and personal details that will invalidate the original ticket.

Queues at the Ticketek box office in Melbourne and Sydney stretched around the block, with many fans camping out with sleeping bags and lounge chairs while others waited patiently on the online Ticketek website – Swift’s four Sydney concerts in February were all at 11: 20 am .
