Madonna has been whirling around Europe on her Celebration World Tour, which kicked off in London last month after being postponed due to her shocking intensive care stay in June.
On stage at the Accor Arena in Paris, the singer finally revealed that she suffered from lung and kidney failure due to her life-threatening health problems.
“I’m infected with a bacteria that nobody knows about. And there’s a 40% mortality rate,” she said, according to The Sun.

The Celebration Tour was scheduled to begin in mid-July with a North American leg that would tour over twenty cities in the United States and Canada.
However, this stage had to be postponed after Madonna’s health suddenly deteriorated, shocking her worldwide fan base.
According to her supervisor, she spent several days in the intensive care unit after contracting a “severe bacterial infection.”
A report on Radar Online sensationally claimed that she suffered acute septic shock and was revived with Narcan, which is typically used to treat overdoses.
During her current visit to the stage in Paris, she said: “I was in the hospital. I was in the intensive care unit. “My lungs weren’t working, I couldn’t breathe on my own.”
She continued: “My kidneys have failed. I was infected with a bacteria no one knows about. And there is a 40% mortality rate.
Madonna recalled: “When I woke up, I saw all my children around me and thought, ‘This is going to save me.’ My children are going to save me. I didn’t save her.’
Guy Oseary, who had been her manager since 2005 and her business partner before that, rushed to her bedside when her health declined.
“My manager came to me and stood next to me crying. Two weeks later I came home from the hospital and no one knew when I would get better. “He said, ‘Do you want to go on tour again? Do you want your tour to go on?’” Madonna said.
“I was breathing oxygen through a cannula through my nose, could barely get out of bed to go to the bathroom, and I said, ‘Give me two weeks to think about it.’
She thought, “You know, I consider myself Wonder Woman. I think I can overcome anything, anything, except that this time I can’t show the will.”
Madonna added: “I didn’t have the strength. I had no energy, it was taken from me. So the two weeks went by and I still barely had any energy. I could drink espresso, four Red Bulls. Nothing woke me up. I had no life force.”

But her “kids saved me,” the Express Yourself singer reiterated. “They kept me going and I recovered faster than most people.”
David not only accompanied his mother on tour to provide her moral support, but also played on stage during the concerts.
He performed at their dates in Paris, accompanying Madonna on guitar on her songs “Let’s Go Crazy” and “Mother And Father”.
Madonna, who praised David’s birth mother from the stage, adopted four of her six children – David, Mercy (17) and twins Stella and Estere (10) – from Malawi.
She and a fitness trainer named Carlos Leon have a 27-year-old daughter named Lola, who has followed her mother’s footsteps into the music industry.
Madge then had 23-year-old Rocco with her husband, film director Guy Ritchie, to whom she was married from 2000 to 2008.
