Maya Jama couldn’t wipe the smile from her face after she was presented with a red rose by a fan as she left the Novikov Restaurant in Mayfair on Wednesday.

The 29-year-old Love Island presenter looked completely happy as she stopped by and was handed the single flower.

She looked effortlessly stylish as she stepped out in gray wide leg jeans and a simple white T-shirt.

The TV personality added a touch of class and glamor to her relaxed fit with a statement black coat with built-in shoulder pads.

Maya wore her brunette curls behind her face and made her body appear taller with pointy pumps.

The beauty paired her outfit with a handbag and appeared to be in good spirits after dining at the Asian fusion restaurant.

Maya, who recently signed a multi-million pound deal with Rimmel in January, was spotted filming the campaign earlier this week.

Announcing her partnership with Rimmel, Maya said: “I’m delighted to announce that I’m the new global brand ambassador for @RimmelLondonUK.”

“I grew up with this brand and dreamed of one day saying the iconic ‘London Look’ phrase on TV and now it’s happening.” I have no words to follow in the footsteps of Kate Moss, Adwoa and others. it doesn’t even make sense to me, but I’m honored.

“You wouldn’t have believed the 16-year-old who moved from Bristol to London with a bag full of dreams if you told me 12 years later that I would be part of such an iconic London brand.

“London is my home and now you can see how I live like a Londoner.”

Eventually, Maya overcame her grief and moved to London in 2012 at the age of 16, where she struggled for years to even make enough money to travel to work.

“But I was happy. I was working and living in London and felt like I was achieving something. “I will just work as much as possible.”

The star landed a part-time job at retailer Urban Outfitters and also worked as a runner for production company Jump Off.TV.

Eventually, Maya started offering it weekly music video countdown before switching to TRACE Sports on Sky and Rinse FM.

In 2014 Maya appeared on the MTV show “The Wrap Up” and in 2017 she hosted the Pre-Brit Awards party and a Facebook Live from the red carpet.

Maya also replaced Stacey Dooley as presenter of the BBC Three series Glow Up and presented Crouchy’s Year-Late Euros show with footballer Peter Crouch.

In addition to her television work, Maya was a regular presenter on BBC Radio 1 until 2020 and also appeared with Scott Mills until he moved to Radio 2.

But this year Maya hit the pinnacle of her career as host of the new series Love Island, a gig which reportedly earned former presenter Laura around £600,000.

The fan-favourite presenter has been busy filming the brand new Love Island Games spin-off in Fiji of late.

It comes after Maya and her boyfriend, Stormzy, got into an alley fight on Monday after flying to Los Angeles for work commitments.

The Love Island host, who confirmed her relationship with the rapper was back on in August, appeared “unperturbed and upset” during the heated argument.

After the argument ended, Stormzy went over to give Maya a hug and the pair seemed to have reconciled.

She later made light of the apparent disagreement on Instagram by posting a photo of her with her arms crossed alongside a message from a friend that read: “When he says he won’t like you if you’re a worm wasn’t.”

Maya then zoomed in on her gloomy face, accompanied by several laughing emojis.
