Shaughna Phillips has revealed she never wants her daughter to watch reruns of her appearance on Love Island as she confirmed she is no longer in a relationship and embracing life as a single mum.

The reality TV star starred in the show’s first winter series, set in Cape Town, just weeks before the global pandemic forced everyone behind closed doors in 2020.

Shaughna admitted to her good friend Holly Connolly on her new podcast Oh Baby! that she was not interested in daughter Lucia – her only child – witnessing her escapades as she grew older.

She said: “I love Love Island but if I can get away with Lucia not knowing what Love Island is then I’ve won.”
